Ahoy Ahoy! 

My name is Alena and I am the co-founder of the Positivity Project. 

My passion is dancing through the night, being playful and hugs (yes it can be a passion!). My background is in Childhood Studies (BSc), and I am currently studying a Msc Psychology of Education.

 I have been a Wellbeing mentor for several years, working with young people. This has given me the opportunity to use psychology and creativity to empower individuals. 

I originally became part of RGC by taking part in Pride alongside RGC, training with Ujima radio, meeting up other fellow rebel girls and by facilitating our Positivity Project workshop at Boomtown, with none other than my partner in crime Bridie .

 Out of this was born an empowering community which showed me how these values could translate to everyday life. RGC is a place of opportunities, fun and connection.
