About the Facilitator: I’m Vicki and I love the power that words have to make us cry, laugh til it hurts, and show us perspectives we’d never have considered otherwise.

My workshops with the AMAZING Rebel Girls Club will help you explore what makes you tick; joyfully, angrily or anything in between, and express it on the page. I’ll share inspiring examples from the writers I love (mostly LGBTQIA+) and exercises to move through creative blocks and get the words flowing.

I wanted to write for a long time, but didn’t, because I was scared I wasn’t good enough. Then I started, SLOWLY, and I realised that it was fun to express myself and connect with others. My confidence grew, on and off the page. Now I’ve been published, and I’m writing my first novel!
